We are currently looking for an Entry Level Helpdesk Technician to work from our downtown San Diego office as an addition to our growing IT service team. Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of desktop support and a solid foundation and experience troubleshooting and maintaining personal computers. Candidate must be familiar with Microsoft platforms and applications, Apple OS, and have a working knowledge of common PC and network hardware. Candidate needs to be a “people person” and able to communicate with business owners and non-technical users. Candidate must also be detail-oriented.

Entry Level Technician is responsible for:

  • Troubleshoot common PC hardware issues
  • Assist procurement department in creating quotes for equipment
  • Assemble computers using components and loading software
  • Work in team environment and be able to take direction
  • Field incoming requests via phone calls or email submissions from clients
  • Provide remote helpdesk support to our clients
  • Record and track all customer requests and interactions in CRMS
  • Diagnose and collect relevant data for troubleshooting
  • Document solutions / maintain documentation

Requirements:

  • A+ or Network+ Certification
  • Driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation

Skyline IT Service is currently looking for a Field Technician to add to our team.  The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of IT support and consulting experience supporting multiple small to medium-sized businesses.  Candidate must be competent with Microsoft Server (2016 – 2019), Microsoft platforms and applications, Apple OS, common server and network hardware (managed switches and firewalls), some experience with virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V) iSCSI / SANs and a strong background in cloud services and platforms like Azure and AWS. Candidate needs to be a “people person” and able to communicate with business owners and non-technical users.

Field Technician is responsible for:

  •  New client opportunity network assessments
  •  Project management of client IT projects
  • Managing client IT requirements and future technology growth
  • Work in team environment as a leader and delegate tasks when needed
  • Field incoming requests via phone calls or email submissions from clients
  • Provide remote and onsite support of client IT infrastructure and end-users
  • Record and track all customer requests and interactions in CRMS
  • Diagnose and collect relevant data for troubleshooting
  • Document solutions / maintain documentation

Requirements:

Microsoft O365 / Azure or G Suite / AWS Certified
Apple Certified (a plus)
Driver’s license
Reliable transportation

We are currently looking for a Senior Field Technician III to add to our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of IT support and infrastructure experience. Candidate must be competent with Microsoft platforms and applications, Apple OS, Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V), cloud services and platforms like Azure and AWS, iSCSI / SANs and common network hardware. Candidate needs to be a “people person” and able to communicate with business owners and non-technical users.
